Namche Bazaar, Solukhumbu
Hosted by Lobsang Sherpa
Namche Bazaar sits in a horseshoe-shaped bowl at 3,440 metres, shaped by glacier retreat thousands of years ago. From the upper terrace of this Sherpa family home, Kongde, Thamserku, and Kwangde form a wall so close they appear to lean over the rooftops.
