Sauraha, Chitwan, Chitwan
Hosted by Nabin Koirala
The Narayani River inside Chitwan holds Nepal's only viable wild gharial (fish-eating crocodilian) population — a species that was globally near-extinct in the 1970s and has partially recovered through the park's breeding programme. This stay is at the conservation programme's research site.
