Mustang's architecture has barely changed in six centuries — rammed earth, hand-hewn timber, and prayer flags that snap in the constant Kali Gandaki wind. This home uses the same construction as the Lo Manthang palace, with thangka paintings that glow under butter lamps in the evening.
