Bandipur is a perfectly preserved Newari hilltop bazaar town where the main street has been pedestrianised for centuries — no motor vehicle has ever entered the Tudikhel bazaar. From the ridge above, the Himalayan panorama sweeps from Dhaulagiri in the west to Ganesh Himal in the east.
