Bandipur had a tradition of Newari sesame oil confectioneries and grain-based sweetmeats long before tourism arrived. This family runs the village's oldest confectionery — selroti rings and til ko laddoo made in a wood-fired oven — and has opened the floors above the bakery as guest rooms.
