Pathivara Devi temple at 3,794 metres is one of Nepal's most visited Hindu pilgrimage sites — a helicopter-accessible shrine above the treeline where the goddess receives thousands of worshippers each year. Our rest house is the last accommodation at the treeline, 4 km below the temple.
