By Nima TamangPerched high on a ridge among the lush hills of central Nepal, Bandipur is more than a beautiful destination to us—it is home. Here, life moves gently, mornings begin with mountain light, and the quiet streets still carry the charm of old Nepal.
Our family has always loved sharing the warmth of our home with visitors. We enjoy welcoming travelers who come to explore Bandipur, offering them a comfortable place to rest, homemade food, and a chance to experience the simple rhythm of life here.
From our home, guests can wander through stone-paved streets lined with traditional Newari houses, enjoy a cup of tea at a local café, or simply sit and watch the hills change color throughout the day. On clear mornings, the Himalayan peaks glow in the distance, while the valleys below slowly wake up.
What we love most about hosting is the people we meet. Every guest brings a different story, a different journey, and a new perspective. Some stay for the views, some for the culture, and others simply to slow down for a while. We are always happy when a guest leaves not only with photographs, but with a little memory of our family and our home.
As evening falls and the hills turn shades of orange and purple, Bandipur becomes wonderfully quiet. These are the moments we hope our guests experience—the beauty of simple living, the warmth of local hospitality, and the feeling of being welcomed as a friend.
For us, hosting is not just about offering a place to stay. It is about sharing the Bandipur we know and love, one guest and one story at a time.
