The Jirel people of the Dolakha hills are a small Tibeto-Burman community whose oral histories, ceremonies, and cuisine show influences from both Sherpa and Rai traditions while remaining distinctly their own. This family homestay is the most authentic Jirel cultural immersion available to visitors.
