Thakurdwara, Bardia, Bardia
Hosted by Sita Bhandari
The Tharu kitchen is one of the least documented culinary traditions in Nepal — built around the produce of the forest and river, with techniques for smoke-preservation, wild herb extraction, and fermentation that developed in isolation from the hill communities above. This family stay is entirely centred on that culinary experience.
